WHAT IS HE SHOU WU?

He Shou Wu is the traditional Chinese name for the root of Polygonum multiflorum, a climbing plant with a long history within Chinese herbal traditions.

In the West, the herb is also commonly known as Fo-Ti, although He Shou Wu is its traditional Chinese name.

One of the most important distinctions when choosing He Shou Wu is whether the root is raw or prepared. These are not simply two names for the same finished ingredient.

WHAT IS PREPARED HE SHOU WU?

HOW TO USE HE SHOU WU EXTRACT POWDER

Suggested serving: approximately ½ teaspoon (1g).

This prepared root — traditionally known as Zhi He Shou Wu — then provides the starting botanical material for our concentrated extract.

Just as amazing as the usual Reishi powder but stronger! Great quality products at Hybrid Herbs, been using them for 15+ years. They were selling mushroom powders when no one knew what they were, pre-nu-tropic revolution. I think I prefer the Reishi Powder to Spore Powder but maybe that is because I am putting too much in!

I take it in the morning mixed with cordyceps and then later in the evening on its own in a coffee about two hours before bed.
