Organic AAA+ Ceremonial Matcha – 40g (Miron Violet Glass)

A Tradition Honoured. A Standard Elevated.

This is more than matcha — it’s a reflection of centuries-old Japanese craftsmanship, captured in every vibrant green spoonful. Grown in the historic tea fields of Uji, Japan, where matcha cultivation originated, our organic ceremonial-grade matcha is handpicked during the first spring harvest and stone-ground to a fine, velvety powder using traditional granite wheels.

To preserve its exceptional freshness and nutrient profile, we take a step beyond the norm: packaging it in premium Miron violet glass. Unlike tins or foil packs, this rare glass filters out harmful light while allowing in only the beneficial wavelengths, protecting the colour, flavour, and antioxidants for longer-lasting quality.

🌿 Why Choose This Matcha?

  • Ceremonial-Grade, First Harvest – Only the youngest, most tender shade-grown leaves are selected

  • Miron Violet Glass Jar – Superior to tins and pouches in preserving potency, flavour, and freshness

  • Sourced from Uji, Japan – A region world-renowned for producing matcha of the highest traditional standard

  • Naturally Vibrant & Smooth – Delicate sweetness, low bitterness, and a deep umami flavour

  • 100% Organic & Pure – No fillers, sweeteners, or additives — just clean, green excellence

☯️ A Ritual in Every Cup

Matcha was first introduced to Japan by Zen monks, who discovered that it supported deep states of focus and calm. That’s because matcha contains L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes alpha brainwave activity — the kind associated with meditation and flow states — along with a gentle dose of natural caffeine.

Whether you’re starting your day or centering your mind before a task, this matcha offers clarity without the crash.

🍃 How to Enjoy:

  1. Sift 1/4 to 1/2 tsp into a bowl or cup

  2. Add ~70ml hot water (not boiling)

  3. Whisk with a bamboo chasen or handheld frother until frothy

  4. Sip slowly, breathe deeply

You can also blend it into smoothies, lattes, raw treats, or even skincare formulas. Its mild, slightly sweet taste makes it versatile and easy to love.

What You Get:

  • 40g Organic Ceremonial-Grade Matcha

  • Packaged in reusable Miron violet glass for optimal freshness

  • Approx. 40 depending on use

Keep the jar tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, moisture and strong odours. Always use a clean, dry spoon.

Ceremonial matcha is a finely ground Japanese green tea traditionally intended to be whisked with water and enjoyed as a drink. It is generally selected for its fine texture, vibrant colour and smooth, balanced flavour.

Our organic ceremonial matcha is sourced from Uji, Japan, one of the country’s most respected tea-producing regions.

AAA Grade is the quality designation used by our Japanese supplier for this matcha within its own range. Matcha does not have one universal AAA grading standard, so we use the term specifically as our supplier’s designation.

Yes. It is certified organic and contains only pure organic matcha powder, with no added flavours, sweeteners or fillers.

Yes. It can be prepared traditionally with water or used for matcha lattes, smoothies, overnight oats and recipes. For a latte, you may prefer to use closer to 2g for a fuller flavour.

We use Miron violet glass to help shield the matcha from visible light and maintain its colour, aroma and freshness after opening. The jar is also reusable.

A 40g jar provides approximately 20–40 servings. A lighter traditional serving may use around 1g, while a stronger bowl or matcha latte may use closer to 2g.
