How to Prepare

Add approximately 1–2g of Matcha to a bowl or cup. Add a small amount of hot, but not boiling, water and whisk briskly until smooth and lightly frothy.

Exceptional Matcha deserves thoughtful packaging. We chose Miron violet glass for our Matcha rather than ordinary clear glass or plastic, helping to reduce its exposure to visible light while creating a reusable container worthy of the tea inside.

Matcha is particularly valued for its vibrant colour, delicate aroma and distinctive character, so how it is stored matters. The deeply coloured violet glass provides a protective environment between uses.

Ceremonial matcha is a finely ground Japanese green tea traditionally intended to be whisked with water and enjoyed as a drink. It is generally selected for its fine texture, vibrant colour and smooth, balanced flavour.

Our organic ceremonial matcha is sourced from Uji, Japan, one of the country’s most respected tea-producing regions.

AAA Grade is the quality designation used by our Japanese supplier for this matcha within its own range. Matcha does not have one universal AAA grading standard, so we use the term specifically as our supplier’s designation.

Yes. It is certified organic and contains only pure organic matcha powder, with no added flavours, sweeteners or fillers.

Yes. It can be prepared traditionally with water or used for matcha lattes, smoothies, overnight oats and recipes. For a latte, you may prefer to use closer to 2g for a fuller flavour.

We use Miron violet glass to help shield the matcha from visible light and maintain its colour, aroma and freshness after opening. The jar is also reusable.

A 40g jar provides approximately 20–40 servings. A lighter traditional serving may use around 1g, while a stronger bowl or matcha latte may use closer to 2g.

Hybrid Herbs were selling medicinal mushroom powders when no one knew what they were!

Just as amazing as the usual Reishi powder but stronger! Great quality products at Hybrid Herbs, been using them for 15+ years. They were selling mushroom powders when no one knew what they were, pre-nu-tropic revolution. I think I prefer the Reishi Powder to Spore Powder but maybe that is because I am putting too much in!

I take it in the morning mixed with cordyceps and then later in the evening on its own in a coffee about two hours before bed.
